Where do I go? Upon arrival, you will be greeted by friendly folks who are glad to have you visit with us and can guide you in the right direction. Our nursery is located on the entry level of our main building and is fully staffed for each service. The sanctuary is located on the second floor of the same building. The education building is connected to our main church building and houses our children’s classrooms, youth room, and fellowship hall/gym.
What about the children? We feel it is important for children to learn to worship with their family. For the first half of our worship service, the children remain with their family in the sanctuary. At an indicated time, they are dismissed to Children’s Church, which is led by an adult teacher and helper. Our nursery is staffed with two adults for each service.
What is the style of preaching? Pastor presents an expository message each week. We believe it is important to proclaim the Word of God in its full context. The messages incorporate studies in specific books of the Bible. At times there is a series of messages on a particular topic, often including relevant messages on current events.
What is the style of music? Our worship service is considered a blended service. We sing many of the old hymns of the faith and also include some of the more contemporary Christian songs. We are led by a small worship team, and primarily accompanied on piano(s).
What do people wear to the worship service? It would be fair to say that our dress is business casual. Some of our men wear ties and there are ladies who prefer to wear skirts/dresses. We also have folks that wear blue jeans. We only request that your attire be modest and appropriate for worship.
What version of the Bible is used? Though people have their personal favorite Bible translations, we use the New King James Version from the pulpit and verse memorization. This allows for consistency as we read and memorize God’s Word together.
